Meet Sleeper Teacher Beth
A Little About Beth
I currently live in Northern California, with my husband and our two daughters. I am a graduate of California State University, Chico with my BA in Liberal Studies. I was an elementary teacher for ten years before deciding to stay at home with our amazing girls. Every day presents new challenges and rewards, but I wouldn’t have it any other way!
How I Decided to Become a Sleeper Teacher Consultant
Deciding to stay at home with our girls was not an easy decision. It took some soul searching, but in the end it’s the best place for me right now. As a former teacher, I sincerely enjoyed helping students and parents. I love to see the face of a kid light up when he or she finally understands a difficult concept, and then sharing that positive information with their parents always feels so amazing! Leaving that behind was really tough.
After walking through our sleep journey with Brittney Stefanic Sleep Consulting, I started thinking about former students I had, and the accomplishments they could have made if only they had a proper nights rest. So many of them came to school tired, and it never dawned on me that they probably were staying up way too late, and then waking up too early. I also really missed supporting students and their families. I remember watching a back to school commercial after the birth of our second, the teachers were high-fiving the students as they made their way back into school to begin the year; all fresh and full of excitement ready to learn a plethora of new information. I don’t know if it was the postpartum hormones, or just remembering the feeling of a new school year and the endless possibilities, but I started crying. Yes! The commercial made me cry.
Luck for me, Brittney decided to expand her tribe! After our amazing experience with her, I wanted to learn how I could help support other families by providing the knowledge and tools to teach their kiddos to become independent sleepers. Parenting is hard, but being rested, and having kiddos that are rested and happy makes the adventure so much easier. I look forward to helping you.
"After just a few days my 15 week old goes to bed without a fuss and he now takes all his naps in his crib! Teaching our son to sleep independently has been the best thing we have ever done for our family! And I couldn’t have done it without the help and support of Beth."

Meet Sleeper Teacher Sarah
A Little About Sarah
I’m a former elementary school teacher turned stay-at-home Mom to three young children for the past 6 years. I have my B.A. in Sociology and M.A. in Elementary Education from Quinnipiac University. As an educator, helping others has always been my passion. When I became a mom, and left the classroom this passion didn’t change. Instead of teaching my babies academics, I was showing them love by caring for them as well as teaching them to be independent sleepers. Independent sleep has looked different for all three of my children - and there definitely is no such thing as a “one size fits all” model when it comes to sleep training our precious little babies.
How I Decided to Become a Sleeper Teacher Consultant
Three babies...Three VERY different babies...Three breastfed babies...Three different paths to sleeping independently... Three happy and well rested kids who love and are still very attached to their mama!! Sleep props, catnaps, nursing to sleep, swaddled, tiptoeing out of the baby’s room once they FINALLY fell asleep only to sit down and have them start crying - I’ve been there!
My first daughter was sleeping through the night by 8 weeks and at the 4 month sleep regression she started waking 10 times a night and we got into some bad habits as we were DESPERATE for sleep. Eventually, with a few nights of sleep training, she figured things out and was sleeping through the night.
My second daughter would only sleep with a pacifier and would cry every time it would fall out. After doing the in and out game with my first, we got rid of the pacifier at three months and followed the Sleep Sense plan!
Ironically, my third never took a pacifier and learned to sleep independently very early. However, he was an early riser, but with some slight adjustments and tips from Brittney Stefanic Sleep Consulting we now have him sleeping later.
As a mom of three and educator at heart, I wholeheartedly believe that independent sleep is something that we have the power to teach our babies and children. They follow our lead and need us to teach and guide them to sleep independently. I look forward to helping you and your children get a better night sleep!
"At the referral of our friends, we found Sarah and our lives have literally changed in 2 weeks. Laying in bed the other night, my husband said this has been worth every penny and then some, 'I would have paid $1,000 for this!' Seriously, Sarah with the Sleep Teachers is amazing and SO worth it! We are forever thankful!"
Dana, mom of 12 week old
